Gregorpalooza is an annual fundraising event held in Elliot Lake to help an individual or family from the community who is in need. The event is organized by Vince Ucci with the help of many others behind the scene. The event is in its 16th year and to date has raised over $190,000 for 16 local families.
Gregorpalooza is an event to celebrate Gregor McGregor, who 17 years ago began his fight against cancer and is now 16 years cancer free.
Gregorpalooza is also made up of all the local businesses who donate year in and year out, making this event what it is. Every year, the patrons of Elliot Lake are incredibly generous by aiding with advertisement as well as making sizable donations. Special acknowledgement goes out to Sarich's Source for Sports, AJ Bus Lines, Moose FM and The Standard, without which, Gregorpalooza could not be possible.
